After searching for a company to install new kitchen flooring in a difficult situation, I found Carpet Hut & looked no further. From the time I walked in the door, I knew this was the place....competent, fair & honest.....a rare combination. Terri immediately & quickly brought me up to speed with "Flooring 101", which made my choices clear & shortened my learning curve. She & Destiny fully entered in to suggest & evaluate a flooring choice I would not have considered, but ended up loving! The decorating & design expertise is invaluable. Then Larry stepped in with comforting & competent installation guidance. The job was done on time & without issue.....and the price was right. I would recommend Carpet Hut to anyone & plan to call them again for every future need. Thanks Carpet Hut!!, Another happy & satisfied client!

After finally taking the plunge in getting new vinyl and carpet throughout the house, my wife searched the internet for the best local carpet installer and retailer...Carpet Hut came up and after reading the reviews it was a no-brainer! We went to their showroom and Destiny showed us around and answered all our questions. When we got down to business...Larry came to the house for the measurements...old school...tape measure and hand drawings...very refreshing! Estimate which was very, very competitive. It was a no brainer...about 10-days later, Larry called for installation dates...Friday and Saturdays would only work for us. No problem!!!! First, the vinyl was laid...beautiful!!!! Next week...Friday and Saturday...the carpet was laid...fantastic!!!!!! The installers explained what they were doing and why...I learned so much!!!!!!! Thank-you Carpet Hut!!!!!!!

I had them install carpet at my business facility so when we were looking to get hardwood floors at our house, we asked for an estimate. Being satisfied with the product and the price, we chose them. We bought carpet and hardwood. We loved Buster, he installed the floor. A lone worker with a lifetime of experience. He treated our house as if he were installing floors at his own home. There were some challenges with the slab floor in our condo but we could not be more pleased with the final outcome. Larry stopped by to see how things were going. They truly care about the customer. The Carpet Hut people did a great job for us. We spent some time in their showroom and where given a great deal of attention -- over several visits. We finally decided on a combination of carpet and wood flooring. Their installation teams were both efficient and friendly. The job was finished a day ahead of time

Carpet Hut was a dealer I came by quite by accident. They are on Arrowhead in Kempsville and worth the trip. Their show room is huge and I got a better deal and the service and installation by Larry was excellent. I would recommend them because of there selection of carpeting and tile and they professional service. They did an excellent job on my installation 5 stars guys.

Larry came out to measure and give me an estimate the same day that I called. Their people arrived on time and went right to work. The entire job took a few hours. My interior design class (TCC) went on a field-trip to "Carpet Hut" expecting it to just be another carpet business...au contraire. The knowledgeable staff armed with many years of experience answered all our questions effortlessly. I learned a lot up wall-to-wall carpeting, area rugs, underlayment, etc. The fact that they do not sub out the work (installation) is very rare in these times. The owner and her staff place us at ease, and treated us as we were family. I am a future designer who will definitely hire the service of this second generation family business...bravo! designeimaj

I was extremely happy with the service I received from Carpet Hut! They have been in business over 40 years and it shows! The salespeople were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and since they don't work on commission there was absolutely no pressure! They have a huge selection of products and a beautiful showroom. They installed a new vinyl floor for me and the workmanship was top notch. The vinyl mechanic has been with the company over 30 years, is certified in the field and is the most meticulous person I have ever met! My floor is absolutely gorgeous! It looks like they picked my kitchen up and set it down on the new floor! I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone!!! They have a lifetime customer!!!

I have to say that Terry seems to know more about carpet and floors that any should. She also claims she will beat anyone's price-Home Depot and Lowes. The experiance dates back to before I was born.
