Take Back Your State provides people a forum to share their opinion on the bills being discussed and voted on by their State legislators. These pieces of legislation impact our families and neighbors, and it is important that our elected officials have the ability to hear the voice of us, their constituents. Legislation at state level, in our own backyards, can be far more impactful than those happening at a federal level. Unfortunately, most of the media coverage for introduced bills is being done at the federal level, leaving us in the dark about policies that have an immediate effect on us unless we seek them.
