Dr. Shamey has been my dentist for over twenty years. He really is so good at what he does. Today I went in because I needed two fillings. He used a new laser technique which was totally painless even though I didn't receive any Novocain. When I left the office (which took only about 45 minutes for both fillings) No having to wait hours (and accidently biting my lip) for the numbness to go away. I also think his prices are reasonable in comparison to what other dentists' charge, and they aren't as good as him.

First off I am ashamed to say that I haven't been to a dentist in a very long time ! mostly because I am a big baby and afraid of pain ! but unfortunately I had no choice because my two teeth became infected and had to be pulled . I recently moved to Palmer Ma . and HAD TO find a dentist quickly before the infection got Worse and ended up putting me in the hospital! So my sister who has worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Shamey recommended him to me because she knows I am a big baby also! lol

Anyway I was so impressed with the way Dr. Shamey took the time to talk to me and make me feel important, not just as a patient but as a person! I have never had my teeth pulled before and was scared to death thinking it would hurt a lot and I don't take pain very well! Dr. Shamey also took the time to make SURE that I felt no pain! and took his time with me. And what REALLY impressed me was when he called me to see how I was doing after my teeth were pulled and to let me know what I needed to do so it healed well. What dentist cares enough to do that? none that I know of! But anyway I am just happy to find a GREAT dentist and not have to worry about having an "anxiety attack" every time I have an appointment! lol
