Unless you are Vietnamese...

Unless you are Vietnamese, don't bother going here. I am American and the only parishoners who would speak to me were the teenagers. The adults refused to speak to me and had the kids ask me "Why I was there".

This was not a one-time occasion. I went for three straight months, and even attended the language courses that were held after services, for the younger members. Some of the kids even confided in me that they have American boy/girl friends and have to hide from the parents because, "they don't want us mixing the races".

Both the inside and the outside are VERY beautiful, with ceiling-high gold statues on the inside. This would be an ideal place to find your "inner-Buddha", if they would only welcome more worshipers. They even sell jewelry and other items of devotion, as well.
