This company should change it's name. My son is in a special education program and "Safeway" has been used to bring him to and from school. The aide intended to keep him from getting off of the bus or hitting the driver was not trained and allowed him to run across a busy street.
Worst service ever.

Our school district switched from American Taxi to Safeway Transportation this year to provide transportation for special needs students. BAD move. Drivers are routinely late both before and after school and make up excuses as to why they are late or claim they are "5 minutes away" when it's more like 20 minutes. They have also claimed to be waiting at a different door at the high school when in fact they weren't there (an observation confirmed by high school staff).They also sometimes use unmarked cars to pick students up, which causes confusion and could potentially lead to unsafe situations. We plan to petition our school district to switch to another transportation company. School districts beware: this is not the company you want to work with! (I'd give Safeway negative stars if it were possible).

I really wouldn't recommend this business to anyone especially to those that have children that are disabled or have autism. This is transportation company that does very bad business and are rude and disrespectful to their clients and whatever you do please don't call them if you will get hung up on by a woman named Liz Nicoli. I have made numerous complaints to the manager and nothing has been done. I give them a negative 50 stars.
