Dr. Torhorst began his surgical practice in Central Wisconsin in 2011. After earning his podiatry degree, Dr. Torhorst completed three years of surgical training at the University of Louisville Level 1 Trauma Center completing over 3000 surgical cases, specializing in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. His board certifications include the following: Board Certified Foot Surgery/American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery Board Certified Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery/American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery Board Certified American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Orthopedics Certificate of Added Qualification in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care American Board of Podiatric Medicine Originally from Madison, Dr. Torhorst and his wife, Kari, have two daughters and a son. He is an avid golfer and fisherman.
