Headquartered in Waverly, Va., Prince George Electric Cooperative provides quality electric services to the people of Dinwiddie, Isle of Wight, Prince George, Southampton, Surry and Sussex counties in southeastern Virginia. The cooperative participates in Virginia fuel assistance program through cooperation with Department of Social Services to take applications for assistance for winter heating costs. Its Cooperative Living magazine is published nearly 10 times a year by the Virginia, Maryland and Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives and is distributed to more than 350,000 homes. Prince George Electric Cooperative also has an office in Prince George, Va.
