We hired Robert Baker (Carolina Custom Concrete and Swimming Pools) to pour some concrete decking for our pool that was just installed. He came out on 8/22/16 (Monday) and put up 75% of the forms and said he would be back on 8/24/16 to finish the form work and put up the cantilever decking for the pool. Then his plan was on 8/25/16 to Pour the concrete and finish the job. He required I pay him 50% of the job up front ($2,500 in cash) so we did. At that point we were excited, however when Wednesday came and he did not contact us or come we were concerned. 7am Thursday came and no concrete arrived as promised and no word from Robert Baker. He texted late Thursday morning saying he had to cancel our pour to do another, and that was the last communication I have had with him. He will not return calls, texts, or voice mails. I have not heard from him since Thursday (8/25/16) and it is now (10/10/16) so I can only assume he has no intention of ever finishing my job

I had the brightest hopes for our project and was left extremely disappointed and all but broke. While these guys might do ok with pools/patios, we had an interior job with our floors that ended up being $2000 over budget, the crew smoked inside our home, a two week job ended up being over a month and a half and the product was depressing in the end but at least it got the crew out...and the huge mess that they made couldn't get any worse. Was told surfaces would be covered and cleaned afterward, but it NEVER happened. The icing on the cake was 2 months later, we found out through sources that less than have of the necessary products were used and it wasn't even the correct product(s) - which was the reason they said they needed more $! The only good thing to come of it was we learned a BIG lesson in asking for references. They might do better on exteriors, but don't let these guys in your home. We are slowly fixing the problems they caused now a little at a time as we can afford it since these guys wiped out our bank account.

They have always been professional over the phone and in person and have great customer service.
