Cassie Finck, ARNP became interested in The Iowa Clinic during the first clinical rotation of her nurse practitioner degree. She followed three Iowa Clinic providers and was instantly drawn to the culture and environment. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Cassie was a registered nurse and began her career on a Pulmonary unit in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Volunteering for camps supporting children with disabilities has been a passion of Cassie's that started at a young age and continued through college. She has a desire to help those in need, which stems from caring for her younger sister who was born with a health condition, leaving her unable to walk or talk. Cassie feels learning to communicate with someone unable to express their thoughts verbally, has made her an excellent listener and communicator. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to warmer climates (most recently Hawaii), especially during the cold Midwest winters, as well as going back to South Dakota to spend time with family and friends, reading, exercising, running outside, and staying active.
