Located in West Union, W.Va., Doddridge County High School provides general academic programs to students. It conducts classes in business studies and family consumer, health and agriculture science. The school s syllabus includes English, mathematics, social studies, language arts and music. It also maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals and provides links to search engines. The school organizes a range of athletic activities, such as football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, cross-country, soccer, and track and field. In addition, Doddridge County High School employs a counselor, as well as conducts classes in physical, special and gifted education. It is a part of Star Schools, which also governs an elementary and high school.
