If you haven't been to a Trader Joe's you need to stop reading this and go immediately. Well, okay, you can read the forthcoming glowing review. While compact in size, TJ's makes up for it with quality! Want a one way road to obesity? Buy their frozen Mac & Cheese. Best in the world. Truly. Although I'm sure it is possible to enjoy it in moderation, I know no such word. The fat free Fage yogurt knockoff is also excellent and half the price of Fage! TJ's is the store you pass a million times before heading in. Yes, the war-zone they call a parking lot is not unlike the scene at Best Buy on Black Friday, but trust me - it is worth it! Battling soccer moms towing their screaming children won't stop me from the prize! You can't do ALL your shopping here, but you can get a good chunk. There are very few 'national' brands, most everything is labeled and made by TJ's themselves which keeps prices really down to Earth. And by down to Earth, I mean a poor college kid like myself can afford to eat well...without having to go resort to other...unbecoming..measures. Sometimes they have the nerve to discontinue things which is alarming because the products can't be found elsewhere. Try not to declare your love for a particular item too loudly because I am not completely unconvinced that this isn't how they get on the chop list. The only bone I have to pick is the fact that there are no TJ's in Rockland County. What is up with that, Joe? Although conveniently located next to cheap NJ gas, I would like the option visiting Mecca a little closer to home. Let me pay homage, Joe. Please.
