When my mother was discharged from Community Medical Center and admitted to Whiting Healthcare, she continually complaoined to staff about an unrelenting itch she had all over her body. Staff did nothing to address the sitiuation other than to give her a lotion (nonpresription) and told her to put on her. After not working, I addressed the staff about my mother's situation and they told me they would check into it. More lotion. When she was discharged, I took her to the doctor to have checked out and she's been diagnosed with scabies! Great job Whiting Healthcare. I'm not saying it came from the Healthcare facility since she complained about it in the hospital, but the neglect of following through thoroughly was neglected. I understand you're short handed, but administration needs to take a better look as to how things are operating on a low staff level for a medical care facility.
