A great coffee shop means beautiful atmosphere with unlimited Wi-Fi, great tasting coffee and pastries. Extra bonus - friendly baristas who greet you with a smile and know your name and regular order. Meg-A-Latte is that coffee shop! A great asset to the community!

Pros: New Hope Church has a playground. The church, not the coffee shop.

Cons:
Horrible service, the line is always long and takes forever to move because no one behind the counter knows what they are doing. Then, when you do get your coffee the shots are ALWAYS burnt, and it's either crazy bitter (in a bad way) or way too sweet to even taste the burnt shots. The owner, Meg Wold, does not train her baristas properly because she doesn't know how to make coffee herself and yet she calls her product 'gourmet'. She is a terrible excuse for a business owner.

High prices that are constantly going up without warning, the barista didn't inform me that they raised their prices until I went to pay and the drink was already in front of me. Did I mention it's $4.15 for a small latte? That is two shots of espresso, 4oz of milk, and maybe two pumps of service. I get shots, just 2 shots is $1.95. Where does she even come up with that? Because to add an extra shot is $0.40, but somehow just two shots over ice is $1.95. I don't think she has any idea how to even build a menu. But it would make sense, because she can't run a business to begin with.

Yes, this is Williston, but that is no excuse to rip people off with horrible product and unacceptable service. If you don't know how to run a business, you shouldn't own a business. If I had to guess, I would say that her wealthy daddy pays to keep it going. I guess coming from a rich family has it's benefits.

Tip for Meg: hire some people that know what they are doing, and sell your shop before you are run out of business by people that actually know what they are doing.
