West Central Industries provides employment training programs to people with disabilities. It provides recruiting services in the areas of child care centers, beauty salons, nursing homes, pet shops, garden centers, churches, banks, offices and nonprofit organizations. The center offers a range of services, such as employment planning, day training and habilitation, job placement, individual supported employment and job retention support. In addition, it offers prevocational services that are designed to prepare an individual for paid or unpaid employment with a focus on personal hygiene, safety and task completion. Established in 1962, West Central Industries has a professional staff of more than 65 members and maintains a location in Willmar, Minn.
