Called General Locksmith Store to have my deadbolt changed. 15 minutes later, Mike, a friendly, honest, and helpful guy arrived at my door. Mike explained that my door wasn't in great shape, and actually convinced me to buy a cheaper lock than the one I originally requested. 5 minutes later, the new lock was installed. If you've ever dealt with other locksmiths, you may have felt pressured to buy something you didn't need. That won't happen with these guys. They're honest, and the feeling that you weren't put through the wringer is priceless. They even gave me a New Years gift basket. Seriously? General Locksmith Store Company to call 708-401-1100. A+++

WOW! I don't know what else to say. I called General Locksmith Store on Wednesday and he gave me a great breakdown of what I was looking for, which is was a deadbolt installation. He was very informative and helpful. I called him again on Friday to set up a time and he made time in his schedule for a Saturday installation, in less than 24 hrs!



The install was fast and he was super friendly and professional. Dave is quite personable and I really enjoyed having such a nice person to coordinate with.



If you need a lock install, you can't do better. I honestly would say that working with General Locksmith Store has been my most pleasant interaction with a service company in Willowbrook, IL EVER.

In a moment of brilliance, I locked myself out of my apartment and they were here within an hour. The General Locksmith Store was efficient, professional, and called ahead of time to let me know he when he was on his way from his last job. Pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend them!

How can you not be amazed by a company that already has a solid five stars? Thanks for making it easy to pick a locksmith!



1st Star: has 24/7 service.

2nd Star: Tech was exactly on time, 8am. And chipper as can be.

3rd Star: Professional service. Tech explained the flaws of our previous lock - but also didn't make me feel like an idiot for my own [failed] installation job.

4th Star: Quick service. I hadn't even taken two sips of my coffee, and the new lock was installed.

5th Star: Cheap! By far the cheapest quote I got.



I would not hesitate a second to recommend General Locksmith Store to anyone.

I called General Locksmith Store based on the reviews I read here. I emailed to the company first, but he didn't see my email, so I called. They was very nice. He apologized for not seeing the email, and they asked me to give him the information and send pictures of my locks by email. I wanted to change a lock in the apartment I have just moved into. I wasn't in a hurry, so we fixed an appointment, and on the day we had said, he came on time, was very nice, changed one of the locks for a good price and was just very professional and nice. I will definitely call him again if I have any problem or if I need a new lock.
