I chose medicine because I felt it would lead to an engaging and rewarding life. And that's turned out to be the case. \n Listening to the patient is an essential part of my healthcare practice. I always start every office visit by asking questions and listening to the answers. I think of my patients as my partners or teammates in their healthcare. Through careful listening, I can help determine the root cause of someone's symptoms and then recommend treatment options. \n In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors. Walking through parks, hiking and fishing are some of my favorite outdoor pastimes.
