Located in Yakima, Wash., Discovery Lab School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 200 students in grades one through five. Its curriculum includes reading, writing, English, social studies, math, art, science and foreign languages. The school organizes parent-teacher meetings that encourage parental involvement in children's education. It also employs a speech therapist, counselor and custodian. The school organizes a variety of events, including drama and musical programs. Discovery Lab School offers physical and special education programs, as well as offers food and transportation services.
