Myers Elementary School is a public school that has a staff of more than 25 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a guidance counselor, librarian, Spanish teacher, physical education instructor, nurse, classroom teachers, and art and music professionals. It teaches students in prekindergarten through fifth grade and is a part of Yukon Public Schools. Myers Elementary School organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as spelling bee competitions, popcorn days, book fairs, skate nights and family bingo nights. The school maintains a parent-teacher organization that works with students, families, schools and businesses to expand educational opportunities for students. Located in Yukon, Okla., Myers Elementary School also operates a library that houses a collection of nearly 10,000 books and supports various databases for the accelerated reader program.
