Horrible experience at the store today. An 80 year old friend and I went to get a butterball turkey. There was one left and the package was torn exposing the turkey. I asked a female worker who was placing meat on the shelves if they had anymore butterball turkeys. She replied yes and said she would go get someone to put them out. She disappeared never to be see again. We waited and waited. I contacted another employee and he checked and said they were loading the cart. Time went by I asked him again. This time he said the turkeys were out in the freezer and they had to move some pallets to get to them. Still waiting along with several other customers. (The other customers left) My friend could not stand any longer and went to sit in the car. I waited and waited. for about 25 minutes. Finally a man came out and said they do not have anymore butterball turkeys and he didn't know if or when they would get some more it. He tried to convince me to buy the last one. I responded "the exposed meat could be contaminated." He tried to assure me it would be ok. He explained if they did get some new ones they might not be at the current price 99 cents per pound and that the price might go higher. He paused and said "they might be on sale at a lower price". I went to customer service but the wait was to long and I was in pain from waiting so long for the turkey. They shouldn't make it a practice to lie to customers. If you don't have the merchandize just say you don't and you should never encourage a customer to buy any food that has been possibly contaminated.

Everyone is always so kind and helpful. Recently I mentioned to a clerk about how much I liked a certain product, although you didn't have it on the shelves. Well the clerk agreed to ask about it. Well by golly it is in the store. Great job, you folks listen. Thank you so much for all of your good works.
