This company will rip you off! They are horrible to deal with once they have your money your on your own. Make sure you Video tape your rental - guaranteed if you don't you will get screwed over.

I have been a tenant for almost 2 years now and have not had a problem with the service. My water heater blew up and they had it fixed promptly. They maintain the property well.

I am totally amazed at the things you people say. If dpm was such a terrible company that only tries to take your money, you'd think that after so many years in business they'd have complaints with the bbb. In case you didnt notice... They work for the OWNERS. I have rented multiple places from them and NEVER been ripped off. You want to know my secret? I pay my rent on time, respect the homes and follow the contract that 'I' signed. If you dont like the rules then go rent from a slum lord.

This company fails at everything. They will not protect the tennets all they care about is money.

Beware. They will tell you the property is one price and then after you complete the application they will tell you that the price went up. They will tell you that the unit comes with washer and dryer and then after you give them your deposit they will tell you that they never said that. They won't fix their dilapidated buildings and try to blame it on you.

Horrible experience! waited 20 min to see a property and the lady still did not show. She had cancelled 2 min after we were supposed to meet by leaving a message on my work phone saying she wasnt authorized to show the property!!!! then we were blamed for not calling her back when she "called to confirm at 8:40 am" when the appt was for 9:30. doesnt make sense and was totally shocking

We have been renting from DPM for a while and always enjoy the way we are treated and the service our family gets. They are professional and take their jobs seriously. I wouldn't want to have to do their job. You will not find more honest people anywhere. So we think they are doing a great job and would recommend them to anyone.

Deschutes Property Management has been around for nearly 15 years, they are professional and courteous. Yes they do enforce the rental agreement, that is what owners pay them to do. But if you are honest and take care of the rental, they are more than fair when it comes to the move out process. They have no complaints from the BBB, which is pretty good for a PM company who is working with a variety of clients. They have a super easy to use website, and do personalized showings whenever possible. When you move in they take digital pictures etc, and also welcome the tenant to do the same so this eliminates the possibility of misunderstanding at move out. With a dedicated maintenance department, they respond quickly to maintenance needs.

They are liars and cheaters. They treated my friends and family like garbage. There are many other comapnies and private renters out there that will work way harder for you then DPM ever will. This company is just disgusting.

This company is absolutely terrible. They treated my family very poorly! I suggest not using DPM for any of your renting needs. The woman that work in the office are very unprofessional and terribly rude. All renters avoid this company like the plague!

I've bee renting from them for 6 months so far and have no complaints at all. They have always been friendly and professional.

Why? Well, I've been to Bend 2 times now in search of a rental and, unfortunately, have been disappointed by the staff at Deschutes Property Mgmt. The 2 appointments made in advance were cancelled without explanation. So, I visited their office to find my experience less than remarkable. I am still in search of a rental.The

leasing agent was very rude, She arrived 15 mins late and double booked her appointments to show the rental.

Easy to work with, they have a cheaper application fee than some companies. They are willing to show properties even somewhat last minute too.

Unprofessional. Don't explain how things work up front. Hidden clauses in contract in order to take your money. I would highly advise against using them. It is really poor business practices to take advantage of people during housing/economic crisis. There are plenty of other companies in Bend to choose from.
