I had a mastectomy 18 months ago. After the mastectomy and chemo, I wasn't sure I wanted to do reconstruction as I was very tired of doctors, clinics, and hospitals. However, I am so glad I decided to see Dr. Angeles for a consultation. He was so kind and informative. None of the reconstruction has been bad at all. In fact, it has been fun and I am more than thrilled with the result. I am 58 years old and my breasts haven't looked this good in over 30 years. Dr. Angeles spent a lot of time helping me decide what would be the best reconstructive surgery for me. When my friends ask me how the reconstructive process is going, I always respond "After all the stress of the cancer, I have to say that this is the happy stuff!" I am thankful to Dr. Angeles for helping me to feel peaceful, whole, and even pretty.

Previous to my surgery, Dr. Angeles was very clear about the procedure. He is meticulous, professional and empathetic. He showed genuine concern for my well-being.

I was treated with respect, understanding and kindness. These are all wonderful things, but without the expert knowledge and skill which Dr. Angeles possesses, they would have been meaningless. While I came to Dr. Angeles for cosmetic reasons, I chose him, in part, because of his vast knowledge and experience with wound healing. I had extensive surgery to my arms and experienced no complications. He called my home to make sure I was doing well and was always available when I needed him. I looked at surgeons in Portland, but found no one who could compare to Dr. Angeles. A+ rating.

Dr. Angeles, MD created a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for me and my family. I was diagnosed with Melanoma located on my left ear. I was 6 months pregnant at the time and the stress was overwhelming. Dr. Angeles treated me with such care and concern and compassion that I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. I knew he was fully capable of taking care of my cancer. The research that he did for me and the communication he had with me was outstanding. After my surgery and post care I felt so grateful that he was my Dr. and the one to take me back to health. He has created a larger awareness of my body and the health of my skin. This was a big decision for me and I was a bit nervous. The entire staff took such great care in explaining every aspect of my procedure. They answered questions I didn't even know I had! Dr. Angeles was available, took great care to make sure I was comfortable from beginning to end. I'm very please with my results.
