Owner Ric Secor arrived at our home on-time to discuss installing a central forced air system with heat pump. Our intent was to abandon the existing unique system we already had. After Ric heard us out on our needs and history of the home, he actually encouraged us to consider putting some money into our existing system instead - even though that meant he would not get to do the work as it was not in a system he was currently working on. His honesty and the time he took to sit down with us an listen was refreshing and not something we are used to getting these days. Ric had also taken the time before our appt to research our home so he was informed and prepared when he arrived, again, amazing. Even though Ric did not get to work for us, if he did, I have no doubt in him and his company's ability and integrity to do a great job and to stand by the work.

I woke up to the smell of burning which was the smell of the heater element burning because the fan was comming on. Home Heating came out, replaced a part, charged me $268.00 for less than an hours work and left. The problem wasnt fixed and continues to this day. When I called Home Heating and told them they said they wouldnt charge me the $79.00 service charge fee for having someone come out again but would not reimburse or credit me for the un needed part or the labor ($ 189.00). The person that worked on my unit seemed fairly clueless and sugested replacing parts one by one untill we found the problem. I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone except my enemies.

We are so happy with the work Ric and his team recently did to our home. They installed a new heat pump, corrected duct work and improved the dryer venting. This team is highly professional and called or checked in with us frequently to ensure we knew what was being done. They explained everything and were always receptive to any questions we had.

Our dryer in the vacation home we recently purchased wasn't drying clothes sufficiently. I looked online and decided to call Ric at Home Heating & Cooling Inc because of his five star rating. Ric came out, diagnosed the problem, then offered to come back the next day, which happened to be New Year's Day, to fix the problem. He not only did a fantastic job at a fair price, he thoroughly cleaned up after he was done. I would strongly recommend him to anyone needing HVAC service. Two thumbs way up!

We had to buy a new washer and dryer on Christmas Eve. We called Home Heating and Cooling because we needed to get someone out right away to clean the ducts before the new dryer was installed. Them came first thing on the 26th and rearranged schedules, even after someone on their team got sick! Really great service and Ric is really great. We are changing our yearly service to the company

We have been doing buisness with Home Heating for the past year and they always take care of us. From our Rental Heating Repairs, to monthly Maintenance at our Business and a panic call when we lost heat at our residence. They are there for us and always explain what they are doing and give us updates when things will be done.Give Them A Call, They Put You First.

My furnance went out and I live over 60 miles from Bend, in the Round Butte area above Culver. I received concern and friendly, immediate attention from Home Heating & Cooling. Same day service, they came out and checked everything out, ordered parts right from my home, made sure I would be warm, and checked my air quality in my home. Installation was timely and superior in quality. We were constantly impressed by the level of service provided by Ric and his team. They went above and beyond expectation throughout the entire process. They replaced an old heat pump and furnace, cleaned ducts, replaced some old ductwork, improved air flow in some rooms, set us up with remote thermostat access and great filtration - it all works great! They also provided great references for any other work we needed to have done and then even followed up to make sure that those referrals did great work! I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for heating-cooling services. I have already recommended them to everyone I have talked with since the installation. When my hot water stopped flowing on a Saturday afternoon, Ric came out within minutes to re-light the pilot, and at no charge. Now that is what I call quality service! As a member of their new service/maintenance plan, I know that I can count on Home Heating & Cooling to keep everything up and running and in good order.

We were so impressed by the thorough job done by Home Heating & Cooling on a rental property, that we had our home assessed and improved by an Aprilair system, humidifier and UVC light. In addition to a quality furnace, Ric suggested an Aprilaire filter unit for installation in our home. With the new system up and running our home is the most evenly heated that it's ever been in the twenty years we've lived here and the air is much cleaner. Not only did the before and after particle count show that, we see it in the marked absence of dust!

I PURCHASED A HOME WITH ONLY WALL HEATERS. RIC FROM HOME HEATING AND COOLING IN BEND, OR. INTRODUCED ME TO THE MITSUBISHI DUCTLESS HEATING AND COOLING. IT HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. RIC IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND A PERFECTIONIST IN HIS INSTALL. I AM HAPPY WITH THE UNIT AND "VERY TOASTY WARM"!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOME HEATING AND COOLING IN BEND!!
