Well if your "Perio" is Dr. Berman...you might want to see him more often. Great skills, "bed side manner" and superb staff make the down side of a Periodontist visit border on a pleasant experience.
I don's wish these procedures on anyone...but if you "gotta"...then you owe it to your self and to your gums to see Dr Alan Berman.

My anxiety level is at an all time high, all time high i let me head get best of me, the moment i walked through these doors from the staff to the doctor himslef i felt at peace! he honesty and the passion to want his patients to succeed at fixing there mouths, gums etc...its undenaible amazing!! I may or may not have road ahead of me of some work but with this staff and an open heart and concern any work needed it needed and well worth it!! REALLY COULDNY SAY ENOUGH!! alos the way the all work together is amazing and comforting!!

Dr. Berman throughout appointment explains in detail the procedure in correcting the issue in a "painless" way. Never have I experienced any dental appointment where I had no pain or discomfort during the procedure. His office follows up the next day to check how you are doing and should you have any questions the doctor always makes himself available. I will be a lifetime patient and can only hope he never plans to retire.
