I have lived on the Northshore for 16 years. I purchased all furniture for my new home from AFD and numerous additional purchases over the years and have always been satisfied with the quality of purchases.

I bough my dinning room furniture from AFD and I absolutely love it. I loved my sales women who helped me too. I have also been to a design event there and got so many wonderful ideas for the holidays! It is my favorite store to shop in.

As many people know when you are going through the loan process of a house you cannot finance anything! AFD totally understands this and worked with me to preorder my furniture and hold it until we are ready! This helped so much! The prices are phenomenal for the quality of furniture. We looked at several bedrooms sets for great prices at other stores. If you take a close look though most bedroom sets are made of pressboard or "genetically enhanced" wood. What the heck is that? At AFD the prices were phenomenal and we got a solid wood bedroom set. Can't get much better than that!

Very disappointed with a recent purchase from the Mandeville location. Bought a REALLY NICE leather sofa set which was delivered in the rain and brought in soaking wet with no plastic. Delivery guys rushed it in and said sign here and call if there are any problems after you look it over and they left quickly. I then called to report that there were atleast four to five scrapes with the leather missing and a pin hole with a scratch on the sofa along with a patch of coloring missing on a cusion. Had to wait a week to have the technician come do a report. He then came to take pictures and said you will never be able to receive a new sofa set without some type of scratch or damage. He said the next one could be even worse. Would have loved to be told that before the purchase that it was impossible to buy a new sofa set without damage. He then said he was only there to do a report and would submit it and spoke of his personal family issues during his visit. Best part....I get a letter in the mail today stating the technician said I refused service?! And that they dont exchange furniture for minor issues if it can be fixed..HELLO PEOPLE ...THIS IS A NEW SET...why should it need to be fixed. I DID NOT refuse service ..he told me he had to write a report first. They also said that the technician said the furniture was moved because floors were needing minor repairs on a new construction AFTER his visit . ..what the hell does that have to do with anything?! The sofa hadn't even been sat on...still had tags and was in the kitchen to keep it just like it was when they delivered it. THIS IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON A NEW SOFA SET(THAT WASNT CHEAP AT ALL)?????? I have NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON A BRAND NEW PURCHASE. WE had to stay off of the sofa and be without just to wait for them to DO THIS????

Don't shop here. Get a guarant...

Don't shop here. Get a guaranteed delivery date before putting a deposit down. Once they get your deposit, then they do not care about you anymore. I'm stuck without furniture from August 25th to October 13th since I did not get a guaranteed delivery date and to get my money back would take attorneys, better business bureau and the media, all of which I'm considering.

Great Delivery

After my furniture purchase, our delivery was outstanding. The delivery men were careful not to damage any walls or my floors. After setting up our new bedroom and dining room, they showed me some features on taking care of my new stuff. Once again this company is doing a great job.

This company is not reliable!

This company is not reliable! They do NOT NOT NOT NOT stand behind their products. They do NOT care about customer relations. Their only concern is their profit. While waiting for my delivery I could not get the sales representative, Stephanie, to return my call. I assume she had her commission and her only concern was the next sucker who walked through the door. My delivery took more than double the time I was told. They told me I could NOT cancel the order when I was tired of waiting. Also about three years ago I bought a “original oil painting” (so I was told) that turned out to be a print with brush strokes on top of it. Since I got it in the clearance department and still liked it I keep it but I should have realized what kind of people I was dealing with and stay away from them.
