Delicious bakery-always has a line for the breads and tasty treats! Everything is great including sandwiches and salads too. My favorite are the coconut macaroons! Yum! The prices are good too.

What isn't good here?! Try the potato balls and empanadas so savory and delicious every time. Oh and the desserts! Love the chocolate croissants! Cakes especially raspberry are amazing. Long lines are kind of a bummer but they move fast.

This place is amazing! I love love love their cheese rolls. The texture and taste is just absolutely amazing. The price is also very reasonable.

One - do not let the lines daunt you. They move pretty quickly, and what may seem like unorganized chaos is actually pretty well managed. But if you fear the lines, it's best to go around 3-3:30ish in the afternoon.

Two - the pastries. The cafe food is fine, but it's all about the pastries. They're cheap, they're plentiful, they're beautiful and they actually taste as good as they look. My favorites are the almond Florentine cookies, coconut rolls, dulce de leche kisses, and the napoleons. I have a lot of favorites. The potato balls live up to the hype too.

I know it's not the most authentic but it's reliable- you know what you're gonna get. The lines are always out the door- any time of day. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit but it's worth the wait.

Food is yummy. Love their cheese rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and tres leche treats. Pretty reasonable prices too. LIKE!

Portos is a Great treat to bring to the office. You can't go wrong with the guava pastries and empanadas. Don't forget to take a number.

Love going to portos every weekend. Awesome cakes and also breakfast and lunch. My kids love their chesse rolls.

I've been to Portos on many occasions and I can say that I have been pretty impressed with the friendliness of the staff. there are always a lot of customers but the staff greet us with a smile, always.

Amazing, addictive pastries and great lunches in a jam-packed, overwhelming atmosphere. The cheese rolls are a must, and kids enjoy soups in bread bowls.

Easily one of the best bakeries in Los Angeles. I did knock off one star for the sandwiches which are good but not spectacular like the sweet and savory pastries.

The wait can be long and the atmosphere can be a little chaotic since they are so busy all the time but the staff is well trained and the restaurant is clean and organized nonetheless.

When you first walk in, it looks like chaos, but you soon find out that its organized chaos, in a good way. everything there is great, specially the cakes. I'm picking up my father's day cake from there on Sunday, Tres Leches.

Porto's is the best lunch spot around. You can't really do better than two potato balls and a Cubano for about $8. It used to be my go to when I needed something quick, but last time I went they had closed the express register. Devastating.

this place has the best dessert. I love eating their cheese rolls and cakes. Make sure you get there early during lunch or dinner hours, otherwise you will be waiting for along time

I frequently go there as its close to my office, but more because it's great. Everything out of the bakery is just brilliant. My favorite is the cheese roles. I also like their sandwiches. It's just that it can be really crowded and the wait can be long.

Amazing food and bakery! I'm a vegetarian and I love the salads and veggie sandwiches. My boyfriend loves the chocolate chip cookies, potato balls, and apple strudels.

Awesome pastries, reasonably priced cakes. The potato balls, chicken and ham croquettes are highly recommended.
