We've used Effective Air exclusively for 23 years in 5 different houses and have been completely satisfied each and every time. Bobby and Eric are fantastic technicians, the office staff is professional and Jon and Kim (the owners) operate a top-notch skilled, friendly, locally based business. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. We just had our ducts cleaned by Effective Air (it had never been done before - our bad!) and I can really tell the difference in the quality of the air in our home. Whether its a new HVAC system, hot water heater, system maintenance or duct cleaning, I highly recommend Effective Air.

It is always good dealing with Effective Air. Ken could not be more accommodating and helpful. Today, Daniel came to service my humidifier. Excellent. Efficient. So neat. He needed a part and after learning that I was his last call, returned to the shop to get the part and finish the job. Most would put that off. Not Daniel. Thank you!

Last Friday afternoon our AC starting making odd noises. We were worried it would die and we'd be without it throughout the hot August weekend. Since Effective installed the unit, we called them and they sent someone out to take a look even though it was late in the afternoon on a Friday. They were quick and helpful and Eric, who came for repair appointment the following Monday, was great.

Carlos has serviced my HVAC systems for quite awhile now. He, as everyone I've had contact with, does a wonderful job.

He did an excellent job and I recommend Bobby to solve your air conditioning problems.

As a lifelong Glenview resident I love the chance to use local companies for our home. For the past 19 years Effective Air has been our HVAC company of choice and we've never been disappointed. From the professionalism shown by owners Jon & Kim Smith to the office staff (Brad, Janet, Ken - to name a few) we've been very happy with their work. They have recently put in a whole house air filter and we are so happy with the good health results and the ease of maintenance it provides. Today we had our regular tune up with Eric and he couldn't have been nicer - offering to answer any questions and going out of his way to provide full service. This happens on every visit from Effective Air from other techs, too. Effective Air is one company I feel 100% confident about recommending people to and they never disappoint. Great staff - great service - nice local company to do business with.

I have been a customer of Effective Air since I moved to Glenview almost 21years and I am a very satisfied customer who has referred many people to their company. They are an honest and trustworthy company, and they stand behind their work. The service techs who have been to my house: Gary, Eric (tech #20), Bobby they are all have been great, as well as their installation technicians too. They are experts in their field and when they come in they are very through in their inspections, honest in their recommendations, professionals in every aspect of their job. I don't hesitate to do a repair or make a purchase if required as I trust them. As mentioned before, they have done all of my HVAC heating in all of my homes that I have owned. Furthermore, their office staff is always courteous, professional and very accommodating too. They take care of their customers and service you to the best of their abilities. Sales and Management are people you can trust and will give you a fair price. Especially today, it is hard to find a company that you can rely on and gives you the same level of service each and every time, year after year.

I highly recommend Effective Air. We had a 4 year old boiler that was improperly installed by our home builder and as a result was continuously shutting down and in need of repair or replacement. Our radiant flooring needed anti-freeze and we needed a carbon filtration system due to poor water quality from our municipal water supply. Effective Air was highly recommended by Triangle Tube (our boiler manufacture) to address all our issues. EA is certified by Triangle Tube to work on their highly sophisticated boilers. Jonathan Smith (CEO/owner) personally visited our home and offered several options to fix the problems all with different price points for us to consider and work within our budget. We decided to replace the boiler and Jonathan went out of his way to work with the boiler manufacture to obtain a credit for the old boiler even though EA was not the original installer! EA’s professional technicians (Miguel and Adrian) installed a new boiler along with an anti-scald valve, anti-freeze pump and digital thermometers for the radiant floors, and a carbon filtration system. Their expert installers and technicians were clean, timely, efficient, courteous, and professional. The office staff (Janet) is equally professional and courteous and calls are returned within a reasonable time frame. Before we installed the new boiler, we used their 24 hour repair service and had a technician to our home within the hour. Overall, a top-notch company and a pleasure to have as our HVAC contractor going forward!

Effective Air is such a great company. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The technician are very helpful, knowledgeable, timely and friendly. This company goes above and beyond to make sure that your heating and cooling needs are taken care of in a timely and affordable manner. They are also very concerned with our environment. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
