We had a huge wasp nest in our pear tree. Not only did they remove the nest quickly and for a reasonable price, they did it WITHOUT chemicals!!!!! Professional, prompt and fair. What more could you ask from any company you deal with? Thanks a million!

I had noise in the chimney that sounded like it was a bird, so I called Defender and was pleased to have an appointment the same afternoon that I called. James and Nick were very friendly, extremely nice and absolutely professional. It turns out that James could not find any creature in my chimney, the noises had stopped an hour or so before he arrived, but did put screen around the chimney stack to prevent future issues. As he was on my roof, he saw a problem with exposed wood, and he was able to repair it on the spot. I am extremely satisfied with the work that James did. If I encounter any pest issues in the future, I will be sure to call Defender!

We had a racoon in the attic, called Defender. James was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained everything in detail,. Price was reasonable and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the outcome of our situation. I hope we never have to go through that again, but if we do, we will be calling Defenda in Cedar Lake

On a Sunday night, as cold as it was, after hearing noise in our fireplace and discovering a critter, we called various places that said they were opened 24/7 however had to leave messages. James at Defender Pest Control was the only one that answered his telephone, and made an appointment to come by early the next morning. He also said he'd come by that night if the critter got louder. James and Nick (his assistant) came as promised, and didn't leave until the job was done! This wasn't an easy task and Nick, who was outside on our roof all the while, was determined to take care of the problem. Needless to say, we will be calling Defender Pest Control if another problem should occur, and we will also be referring Defender Pest Control to our friends.

I am sorry you were misled whith the wrong information about my company and myself as an individual and I can assure you we do not treat the animals that we capture inhumanely.I have no inclination where this person got there information because it is extremely falsidious.I can asure you that we take pride in everything we do and we do everything humanely as possible and by state and fedearl rules and regulations.

if you want ruthless killers call these guysI was going to call these guys defender pest control but my sisters friend who works for a wildlife pest control company out of told me to stay away from these guys they do things very inhumanely and she said they lie to clients about how long they been in business and why would you want to go with a company that copies their name of another companythey also told me that the owner James green worked for this other pest control company and he got fired for animal cruelty I'm so glad we called Guardian pest control instead of these guysif you want work done professionally and in a humane fashion don't call these guys you'll be sorry

I had called Defender today for the first time. I was very impressed that they were able to come out the same day and give me an estimate. Usually with most companies, you have to wait 3 or 4 days, sometimes a week. I was very impressed with James. He was very friendly and very detailed about what the process was for removing the raccoon. James and a couple of workers identified where they were coming in. This evening, I heard the trap on the roof, and knew that there was a raccoon in there. While letting my husband know (on the phone, he was at work), James had called me to remind me of something we spoke about eariler, and I said, hang on, there is a raccoon in the trap! He was here within a half hour and removed the raccoon. I will use him for ANY issue that I ever have in my house again, and I will let all my friends and family know about James also! My husband and I are very grateful he was able to come out in the evening.Thanks James!

I originally had a vole, field mouse, problem in my landscaping. James took care of that issue after only one visit. Also, used Defender to take care of 'rolly poley' insects. I currently have been using Defender for all of my preventive insect control for couple years now. I have stayed pest free and I wouldn't consider anyone else, James is a real pro, his staff is great, and Defender Pest Control should be at the top of anyone's list with a pest issue.

James sucessfully caught a mother skunk and her four babies in just four days.He patiently rebated the trap near the hole under my front porch. Each day he carefullychecked the trap. Finally, he caught the mother skunk and her largest child on the third day. The other three babies drifted into the trap on the fourth day.I am very pleased with James and Mr. Skinner who installed a wire mesh system to keep them away. The price was fair, the service superb, I would highly recommend Defender Pest Control from Cedar Lake, IN.

So I posted down below damn bees post. Moved from that house to a new house thinking its newer and no work.... Wrong! Heard the noises and purring and immediately called James from defender. Took a few days but we just got momma raccoon today and someone was here first thing to remove momma and 5 babies from the attic. He apologized for it taking to long to get them out but it was fine by us catching a raccoon may take time. They are quite smart as the mom was able to avoid the trap a few times. He even offered to fumigate the attic for us because the racoons may leave mites and fleas for the delay on catching the raccoons. How much better service can you get? James is on my speed dial and I won't use any but him for pest control because I'd be stupid not to. I wasn't home during most of the incident because I was at work but him and his employees were cool as hell with my wife and were very respectful to my home and family. Call James trust me I've called him twice and have been pest free every time, he is quick and true to his word, and his prices are unbeatable and there are no hidden charges. Thanks again James my family and I are very grateful.

I used Defender Pest Control service in 2011, due to a raccoon in my attic. James came out the same day to set a trap and explain the service to be done. I appreciate the daily service check performed and the kindness shown. I kept the prior bill with the company's information in case I have to use his service again and now in 2014 I experience another raccoon problem. I called Defender Pest Control and he shown the same excellent service as before and tips given to help in the future. I recommend this company and I know first hand of his work.

woke up to a raccoon at 3 in the morning that worked it's way thru the roof and was clawing at the drywall in the ceiling. needles to say a very scary moment and next few hours. defender pest control came out asap, set a trap and it was taken care of in less than a day. outstanding people who care and take time to talk and give some great advice. highly recommended in my eyes.

James, owner of Defender Pest Control went above and beyond. He is fantastic. My husband was at work when I heard something moving in the ceiling in my lower level. I called Defender Pest Control in a panic. James was at my house within an hour. He then went about identifying the problem. He set traps inside, then went to find the access point from the outside in the cold and snow. He removed a few boards from our deck and found the problem. This all happened four days before we were leaving on vacation. He came every day while we were on vacation checking the inside and outside. He updated us every day and then went about eliminating and fixing the problem areas. James is fantastic and I would not hesitate to call him again. I definitely would highly recommend him. Defender Pest Control is Prompt, Efficient, Dependable and Effective, and James is Trustworthy.

Defender did a great job identifying what was in my attic and how they got in. He was at the house checking the traps on a regular basis, and was always on time. He also communicated with me on a regular basis, and gave advice on how to keep the squirrels out of the attic. He had answers for all my questions, and I would definitely call him again if necessary, and would highly recommend him for pest control services.

we had snakes that we thought were going in our siding. my husband caught a baby one coming out of the heat vent in our upstairs bathroom. that was it!!! I called people and defender pest control was the first available. I showed them where the snakes were going in and they went right to the basement and found the crack's by looking under our ceiling tile and seeing cracks under our front porch. they took care of it. they knew what they were doing. I was referred to Defender by another pest control as they couldn't handle my situation..which turned out to be a bat in my home!! I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of Defender. They came out immediately...were very nice...very professional. I had a horrible experience earlier this year with a different local company, so I'm very glad to know about Defender. I highly recommend them! :-)

I have a bee allergy and I have a 1 year old running around my house. I called 3 other companies who guaranteed same day service for 300 dollars even though none of them could make it till Monday and pressuring me to get a one year service contract and charge me before someone even came out to look at my problem, I got fed up. I kept telling these people the bees are in my house I have allergies and my kid is only one no one seemed to care. I thankfully found James! We called and he was at my residence within an hours time! He was resilient in getting this bees nest with 100s of bees in it out of my siding. He was stung numerous times but just kept slaying bees. He found the hole into the house and even plugged it for me. His rate is unbeatable, his knowledge for this stuff is endless, and he is very friendly and easy to get along with. Any questions you have he gladly answers. I would say if you are not calling James at Defender to take care of your pest problems your getting screwed! Thanks James!
