I visited Synergy for a new service she was starting from groupon. At first it seemed too good to be true and so, spammy. But it wasn't, in fact after talking to the very cheerful receptionist it made sense. As a crafts worker, I understand the need to work with your hands. Alyssa did a fine job, my hair is fresh and clean (which i definitely needed with the summer and all) and I got to re-book for a discounted price! I will be returning to Synergy Salon and in a hurry.

The environment is great but you want professional and high quality service. Quy's cutting and styling is phenomenal. My wife has very strait hair(she's asian) and gets it styled in a kicky mouse based fashion. My african american nappy hair is thinning so I get a conservative cut that maximizes what I have left. Our son has different textures of hair on different parts of his head in a variety of curls. Quy styles it so that he is the envy of many of his friends and yet does little to it to get the great effect. It is a great place to get refashioned into more of who you are.

I was looking for a salon where I felt comfortable when I walked into Synergy Salon. I asked if they could accommodate a walk-in and was assured they could. From the moment they took me back to change into a smock until I left, I felt I was getting the royal treatment. I felt very pampered.

I have been back multiple times since and each time I feel pampered like the first time. Quay, the owner, is wonderful and attentive. Everyone makes you feel special.

This salon can only be summed up in one word, "awesome". The customer service displayed by staff is exceptional. The atmosphere is relaxing and the consultations are personalized. The final outcome is fantastic, I have never left the store dissatisfied. I have never received so many compliments on my hair before. It's definitely worth a try if you have never been before.

Very relaxing environment. Love the small touches above and beyond the norm. Quy does a fantastic job with my color and also cutting my wavy hair, both immediately after the service and then after I wash it a few days later. If you are looking for a professional, customer-service orientated salon without the hassle of uptown or snotty stylists, but with a professionalism and down-to-earth manner, visit Quy at her new salon in Matthews. She is located in the same shopping area as Pier 1 and Sprint Store, in Sycamore Commons at the intersection of Independence and Highway 51 on the Mint Hill side of Independence. A little pricey but well worth the money. I am impressed with the results, service and convenience. Go see Quy.

For anyone who has been hesitant about visiting a salon or justifying the cost of a salon cut & color, you have to afford yourself a visit to Quy at Synergy Salon. There is nothing like that "good hair day" feeling. You ladies know the exact feeling I am talking about. I can walk in feeling frumpy and tired, and after Quy works her magic, I leave feeling like a million bucks. Seriously, even my husband says I have a "zesty little sparkle in my eye" when I get home! Need I say anymore?

Today was my first visit to Synergy Salon and I was very impressed with the service. Quy was very professional. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and the environment was very relaxing. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a new stylist. I found this place after my last stylist quit and left me in a lurch. I saw the reviews and thought I would give it a try. It is a very relaxing, chilled out place. Que is my stylist and colorist. I am not sure who else works here as a stylist, since she is the only one in the shop both times I have had an appointment. She has worked on me twice and I love the color and cut. I also love the shampoo massage - wonderful! I will return again.

I always get lots of compliments when I get my haircut here. People notice the extra time that is taken to get a fabulous look. The staff is friendly and there is a very relaxing atmosphere that restores your whole being.

Everyone in our family enjoys the relaxing environment of the salon,my boys just love Quy, she has made visits for hair care so enjoyable, so much better then the struggle it can be! You can't substitute quality for cost. I highly recommend this salon. I have been here numerous times and know not to make the mistake of substituting for a walk-in haircut place. Better to stay happy with something that matters.

Qui provided excellent service, she is very attentive to your goals, listens closely, makes sure to understand what you want, and did an excellent job providing color and cut services.

I love the haircut I got at Synergy. I got exactly what I wanted for a price that I could afford. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who asked.

I really enjoyed the head massage that came with the haircut. I thought the salon was only for women but I found that they treat men really well. I liked the way they talked with me about my hairstyle before getting to a specific cut. They even asked if I wanted to have a little color to remove some of my grey hair. I also liked the space. The entry was dramatic and I liked being separated from teh entry while my hair was being cut. Quy is the best.
