Zan's picked up an extra can for 3 months at no additional charge when my son's family stayed with us for 3 months. Zan's has been and will be our recommendation. Not sure Waste Management would do the same, as we had them for years before we switched.

I've been getting my house serviced for almost 40 years and I've seen many waste haulers in my time. I've never seen a crew remove waste as efficient and coordinated as the guys who service my home with Zan's. The guys are presentable and always friendly. I highly recommend their service to anybody looking for true professionals.

All of my neighbors use them, so I signed up too. Never a disappointment. Highly Recommended. Simply The best!!!

I've been dealing with Mr. Zan since the late 80's and the guy's friendly, customer oriented demeanor is what got me to sign up then and what has kept me with them throughout the years. Refreshing to have a company that still cares about its customers.

They won the bid for servicing my business and I probably won't switch anytime soon. They make it too easy.

I live in the Tarrington subdivision in Midlothian, semiannually Zan's will drop large roll off bins for spring cleaning in our community - don't know of any other haulers who do that.

Some other companies make you sign annual contracts, increase your rate annually, or have a fuel surcharge not Zan's. They're up front about their rates and I like that. Great Service too.

I see some of the negative reviews and I say well if you really had a valid complaint, report it to the BBB. My neighbors and I only have positive experiences with them, not sure about all the negativity.

My home is on a private lot, and I keep my trash inside my garage. Zan's guys always come on time and remove my trash from my garage and they leave it just as they found it. Some other companies wouldn’t come into my driveway and wouldn't enter my garage, they wanted everything out in the open, which isn't convenient for me as I have back problems.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their haulers routinely dumped trash in our driveway and left tops off the cans to collect water. Routinely they would only take part of the trash or totally miss pickups. When you call the office the customer service rep offers no solutions, just argumentative. DON'T USE THEM!!

They will not list an address so you can't find their office and they just hang up on you. If you do business with them you will regret it. Oh and BTW!!! Mr Zanders, "the business owner" does not speak to his customers per the woman who answers the phone number listed. STAY AWAY!!!!

I signed up for their service, paid up front and in full for the first quarter. They were to drop off a can on a Thursday - no show, so I called - the can was delivered. Tuesday was trash pick up day - came home from work - trash still in can, I called, no answer- left message. They did call back to tell me they were running late and that it would be picked up. Wednesday morning - trash still in can, Wednesday night - trash still in can. I called, no answer - left message. No call Wednesday and no call back on Thursday morning. I called Thursday morning (after 8 a.m.) no answer - left message to let them know i will find a different service provider. They finally called back to tell me (as I requested) my service was cancelled and that they would pick up can. I asked about the trash sitting in the can and they told ME to take it out. I paid for a service up front which THEY did not deliver & when I got tired of the run around - yeah I cancelled and asked for a refund! When they did finally call me back on that Thursday two days later and trash still in can stinking - they told me they cancelled me, made the refund and were just doing what I had asked them to do? Really - I asked for and paid for trash pick up?? Bad service!! - no wait - NO SERVICE! Go with someone else! They charge more then others too - which was not an issue - but not when you don't get the service you paid for! The man on the phone tried to make me believe anything other than what I KNEW to be the truth about our conversations too - shame on you! IMO they don't deserve even one star! There was one Zan can on my street - NOW THERE ARE NONE.

5am pick ups in an old truck and trash in the streets.



I tried talking to the office but the man was so rude. I said forget it- Trash companies are a dime a dozen. Apparently the entire neighborhood feels that way, there are no more of zans cans anywhere.
