Provided by YP.comWhat a pleasure having Claxton Fireplace add fireplaces to our house. They gave us choices when nobody else was able to figure out to install a gas fireplace in the center of our basement. Also their sales staff were always very friendly and knowledgeable. We were very comfortable letting their expert technicians into our home as well. Thanks to the team at Claxton for a job well done.

Provided by YP.comVery nice job on the project of repair, however the customer service was horrible. A project which was completed in 2 days, took 7 months. Additional work had to be done which was not originally quoted as being needed and while waiting on supplies and another contractor, we were not contacted to let us know what was happening. We stopped by the place of business 3 times and each time received a promise of “you’ll get a call back tomorrow” which usually didn’t happen. Phone calls were also not returned. I understand sometimes projects can’t be finished as quickly as planned. The customer needs to be informed that this is happening. We had actually come to the conclusion that our $2000 deposit was gone and we were out the money. Overall I would not recommend this business to anyone.
