Dr. Loewenstein has always been interested in science and art and has combined the two in the field of Prosthodontics. His daughter Ali, has similar interests and is following in his footsteps as a third year dental student at Temple University. His wife Bonnie is the assistant director of volunteers at the Pleasantville Cottage School. His son Evan is a double degreed engineer from Cornell University and his youngest daughter Carly just received her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Patients know him as a problem solver. Whether they present with a cosmetic issue, cannot chew or have dentures that are not comfortable, Dr. L. always seems to come up with a workable solution. Having his own dental laboratory with several technicians allows him to step outside the box and create a sollution that will satisfy the patient and himself. Dr. Loewenstein was a founding member of the Academy of Osseointegration, a prestigious worldwide organization of implant dentistry. He has created an implant protocol which is minimally invasive, uses no sutures, has minimal if any discomfort, little swelling and heals faster than the traditional protocol. He feels very strong about always including the patient as part of the team and has a very high standard when choosing other professionals as additional team members.
