I purchased two gift certificates from this studio. Miss Ainya welcomed me right away into the shop where there is a variety of products to look browse while waiting for the gift certificates to be printed.

Where do I begin!!? Got my First tattoo with tatlyfe and I’m definitely going back for more work. Miss Aniyah walked me through the tattoo process and how they operate and was very thorough and so kind to me!! Instead of taking advantage of a newbie with no knowledge or experience she was my guide in finding the right budget and time to come in, welcoming me with open arms and was super hospitable to me and my needs. And Jake, the highly gifted Artist, planned out my tattoo with me and spent a while helping me figure out what I want because I can be indecisive at times. Once we got to build rapport and decided on what I wanted he drew it out in front of my while he let me watch a movie during the final prep. Jake and Aniyah are wonderful people who are able to put a smile on everyone’s face by doing what they love and serving their clients in the utmost fashion. Tat lyfe/ Out Da Mud studio is Savannahs hidden gem!!!!! I’m stationed here and will only trust tat lyfe to do my work becuase not only was the tattoo experience great, the results also speak for itself. I’m in love with my tattoo and super great full for finding this place. If you want a quality tattoo from an artist who is proficient and fully confident in his craft, come here and see for yourself! Where to start? I have been working with Big Jake since his Richmond Hill days back in early 2010s. His work and talent is superb! His wife, Aniya, is amazing and straightforward with scheduling appointments and their aftercare products are awesome especially the sunscreen. Now, my adult kids have been tatted by Big Jake!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! You can’t ask for a more professional and thorough tattoo shop. They greet you at the door with awesome energy and go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable throughout the process. Big Jake and Ms. Aniya are amazing people! The welcoming experience and whole personal experience is amazing! You want a custom tattoo? This is the only place you want to look at! Ms. Aniya has sage, candles, soaps and other goodies as well and is the only place I get my sage! Between both Big Jake and Ms. Aniya, they make sure you are taken care of and comfortable. This is my only place to get custom tattoos. The compliments on my tattoos done here always keep coming!

I just got my first tattoo here, very comfortable and laid back experience

First thing I want to say is that the entire process of setting a budget and booking them appointment is super easy. Miss Aniya made everything so easy and was super helpful when when I had a ton of questions.

On the day of booking I felt so welcomed when walking in just like I was family. Mind you I have gotten a tattoo 13 years ago but they still remembered me.

The design process was simply amazing. All I really knew was that I wanted a half sleeve with samurai theme showing the warrior side as well as the soft side. We started looking at pictures and the Big Jake’s mind just started working its magic. Next thing I know we have a design that is amazing and hits on everything that I wanted but couldn’t put into words.

The tattooing process was super easy and relaxed. Big Jake and I chatted a lot while watching Netflix. I felt super at home with them in there.

I will say that the tattoo is not finished and I will go back in two weeks to finish (will update with pictures then), but even not finished the tattoo is more than I could have imaged or asked for.

If you want a legit artist that can put your thought into an even better design then Big Jake is your man. Tatlyfe studios is the place to be if you want to feel at home. I can’t wait to see the finished product. Thank you Miss Aniya and Big Jake.

My tattoo experience has been small tats through the years, nothing as serious as what I’m getting now.  I knew I wanted a Superman tat for the longest, but still didn’t know what it would look like.  Setting up the appointment and my consultation was so professional and personable.  They WILL take care of you.  I will keep repeating Aniya’s words, “follow the process and trust the process.”  Jake is a TRUE ARTIST and can take ANY idea and make it into a masterpiece.  I have a story on my arm right now and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.  When it’s your time for your session, it’s just YOU.  No one comes into the shop, Jake doesn’t take phone calls/texts, he concentrates on you and the masterpiece he is creating.  And for anyone who is scared of the needle…you don’t need to be with him.  I dozed off when he was working on my arm!  He has a gentle hand and doesn’t dig into your skin—if you have experienced it, someone wasn’t doing it right.  I always feel comfortable and relaxed when I come in and that means a lot to me.  This is my tattoo home and Jake is my tattoo artist, will not go anywhere else because I KNOW I will not get the same experience.  “Follow the process and TRUST the process,” you will not be let down by working with them.

With this being my first tattoo as an 18 year old, this was the best first experience I have had. The artist is one of the most down to earth, talented, laid back person I have ever met. The staff was also supportive, thorough, and very professional. I would definitely recommend first time tattoo experiences for anyone from Tatlyfe.
