Ed is just a great guy. You can have complete confidence that his staff can fix whatever problem there is. In my case it was a custom mid pipe for my Jeep to clear my front drive shaft. Not only was there solution a thing of beauty, but he helped me out getting new catalytic converters at cost. Now I can finally install the front drives-haft and get to wheeling. Basically from the simplest muffler jobs to jobs that require creativity and invention, Ed is the man.

I rolled in on a prototype motorcycle and just wanted some advice on my options for rerouting the exhaust. Despite the shop being busy and the phone ringing off the hook, and employees asking his advise, Ed not only showed sincere interest in my project and gave intelligent/knowledgeable advice, but bent some temporary pipes for me to use as I finish prototyping.

I was referred by Toyota of El Cajon to Ed Hanson's Muffler to have a cat back system installed on my Toyota Motorhome. I am very impressed with Ed and his staff. The mechanic who did the work on my RV actually thanked me for my business when I left. Ed spent 10 minutes with me over the phone before I even came in. They were done in under 2 hours and my RV sounds like a race car and drives so smooth!!! IMPRESSIVE SERVICE AND PRODUCTS!!!!

I called Ed Hanson's for a quote and they were $70 cheaper than the other muffler shops I called. Plus, I received another 10% off with their coupon. It took 45 minutes for them to install. No xtra cost for anything.

Throughout the whole experience I was never once pressured into doing repairs that I didn't feel were absolutely necessary, unlike many other places I've been to. No one ever tried to intimidate me into doing excessive repairs. I will definitely be giving them my business again in the future.

I have been going to Ed's for years now. I love fixing up my car so this is the one place i need to make a stop to every once in a while. They always take care of my needs within a reasonable time frame. My car sounds fabulous because of them and I will definitely need to make an updated stop sometime this week.

Ed Hanson saw me checking his hours on Sunday when everyone was closed. Ed just happened to be there, and opened his doors for me and fixed not only the hole in my exhaust but corrected the poor design of my system that caused my problem. I think that says a lot about this mans customer service standards and the pride that he takes in his work. I've been back a few other times and every time its the same quality and service!!! he and his staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful. I took my car there to replace my downpipe and catback, and I must say the crew did an excellent job at a reasonable cost.
