Provided by YP.comBest chocolate martini ever! Great French martini as well. Hubby likes the cheesy baked lasagna and the warm bread is to die for! Baked cheese manicotti is my fave as is the warm chocolate cake. Delicious! Great service, especially love waitress Shirley.

Provided by YP.comAMAZING!!!! I'm VERY picky about sauces and their white and red sauces are both to die for. I could eat there everyday.

Provided by YP.comGreat italian meals in a hometown restaurant that has been here for many, many years. The food is very good and served pretty quickly.

Provided by YP.comGreat family owned restaurant using old family recipes. Spaghetti and meatballs and Homemade lasagna are great! Nice cozy atmosphere with great service. This is not your "Garden" Italian restaurant-much better food and more interesting!

Provided by YP.comWe've dined at Suputo's five times in the last several years and have not been disappointed. The Italian breaded filet mignon is out of this world! A big steak, juicy and tender, covered with a crusted Italian breading. I've also had several of the pasta dishes and they have always been fresh, homemade and good. The salad is a perfect compliment to the steak. We didn't have room for a potato since the steak was so large. Suputo's has been in business since 1948 and with the fine dining they continue to offer, know it will be around for a very long time.

Provided by YP.comFamily-owned and traditional style service. Food (I had spaghetti and he had ravoli) was excellent and served with a smile. Only complaint was that we were ready for dinner at 4 p.m. but restaurant didn't open until 5 p.m. It was worth the wait!

Provided by YP.comSaputos is old school, supper club type Italian food. I have been coming here for decades and the food, while not fancy, is consistently great. The service is top notch with several waitresses that have worked there for years. I like the baked Rigatoni with meatballs. Also, their Saputos antipasto plate is a great start to a meal. I enjoy the Italian dishes, but what really sets the place apart are their steaks. I almost always now get an Italian breaded filet mignon. The beef is locally butchered, never frozen and superbly cooked. Whatever size the cut is listed at, it's always a couple ounces larger. It's not inexpensive for Springfield, but it's about 2/3 the price of a top Chicago steakhouse. I have rarely had a better steak. Enjoy!

Provided by YP.comI have never eaten better Italian food anywhere, and I travel a lot! Any time I'm in Springfield, I try to make a point of eating there. Reservations are recommended, as it is a popular local eatery!

Provided by YP.comGreat classic Italian food. If you like a great meal with the traditional dishes this is the best around. I'm from outside Chicago and an Italian. So trust me it makes my top 5 for Italian I've ever had. Just as good as my grandma used to make.

Provided by YP.comYou either love the red sauce, or you don't. I love it. The Italian Sausage is the best ever. The cheese is very tasteful. Very good Chardonnay. Sometimes the servers may initially appear curt, but if you converse with them they quickly warm up to you.

Provided by YP.comWe were totally clueless on where to get a good dinner in Springfield, so we tried Saputo. It was a great choice. The Italian house dressing was awesome and the lasagne was super cheesy! I got a full meal but only ate half because the servings are big. The only negative was that the tables were pretty close together, so be prepared to get to know your neighbors if someone sits nearby!
