My parents have taken my dogs growing up to Animal Crackers for as long as I can remember. My husband and I have recently gotten our own puppy and she needed her second set of shots. I called Animal Crackers immediately of course and they got her in within that next week! They were also very helpful over the phone. Being a new puppy owner I still had lots of questions and they were happy to answer them. We went in, they got all of her information and we sat in the lobby only 5 minutes until we were asked to come back. Even though Kodie was only there to get shots, I liked how the vet tech giving the shot played with her for a second and made Kodie feel comfortable with her before giving her the shots. After she said hello to my dog for a minute, she gave her the shots she needed within 30 seconds and out we went! The appointment went great, the tech was nice, my puppy was healthy and I was happy! I have had mixed emotions with Animal Crackers, and the only thing I like is their price. However at the expense of my pets health is not worth it. I took him in for an infection and they gave him a shot which he had an allergic reaction to. Once I got home and realized he was having a reaction they had already closed. They did not put what kind of shot they gave him on my receipt so the emergency vet I went to that night had to guess on what to give to reverse the reactions. I did call the next day to notify them so they can put that in his charts. When I had the same problem about a year later, they never opened his chart and again gave him the same exact shot he was allergic to that was clearly noted in his chart had they taken the time to open it up. Never had an apology or anything for a mistake that easily could have been deadly.

We have been taking our animals to Animal Crackers for 20 years and they are the best!! They have performed surgery on our cat for a broken leg and sewed up our dog's neck twice after being attacked by other dogs. They were great and very reasonable with their prices. They love animals and it shows.It is unfortunate that a few have had bad experiences there. They aren't perfect, I'm sure. I'm baffled at the person who is upset about their cat being aborted. After all they took the cat in to be spayed.Our most recent visit to Animal Crackers was not a very happy one. We had our sweet dog of 13 years put to sleep. Dr. Palfreyman comforted me with his words and let me hold her as she went to sleep. he told us to take as long as we needed in the room with her and not to feel rushed. It has been a few weeks and we received a sympathy card from his office. How sweet is that!! So don't let a few bad experiences keep you from going there.

Highly recommended by some dog-lover friends. The visit for a limping cat was very satisfactory - the cat had a fractured paw bone the vet could see in an X-ray. All the people were very caring and the vet that attended Bradley was very gentle and obviously competent. The price was reasonable. All in all, I recommend them.

I made an appointment for my dog to get his annual shots. When I arrived, I was told that I had to wait for an hour and a half to see the doctor. I don't see the point of making an appointment if they are not going to see me at my designated time. The staff is very unhelpful and EXTREMELY moody. I will never go to their establishment again. I would recommend Riverton Vet because they are fantastic.

My wife and I found a dog with a fractured leg and took it to the humane society, where they kept him for 3 weeks before we were allowed to take him home. They told us he needed to have the fractured leg amputated and that they would do it for a ridiculous price (other vets were the same). A friend of ours recommended that we talk to the doctors at Animal Crackers, and after speaking with them they told us that not only would the dog not need an amputation, but that he would be walking within a month after the surgery. Were we so relieved that we could avoid amputation and went along with the surgery at Animal Crackers. They delivered in every aspect, and the price to fix his leg was much less than we were quoted by others just to amputate it. It's been almost a year now and our dog is running around happily and playing normally with our other dogs. This would not have been possible without Animal Crackers and we deeply appreciate everything they did for us.

I just moved and picked Animal Crackers as my new vet. It took a couple of days to get through on the phone (2 days, calling four times a day). They put me on hold for quite some time when I did get through. They did not look at the records very closely when I brought them in, so they gave my dogs shots they did not need. They did not listen when I told them my dog had a reaction to the distemper shot and needed benadryl if they did that shot (they did that one even though she did not need it). They made me lift my 30 lb. dog onto the table even though I am over 8 months pregnant. They did not even look at the dogs (check weight, ears, etc.). They just shot them and walked out. They did not even tell me what shots they gave, I had to look at my receipt to see what they did. The only good thing I can say about them is that they were cheap. I am willing to pay more to avoid that kind of treatment

The staff is really nice. They are busy but I'm sure it's because of their great prices! I have taken both of my dogs there and they send a reminder whenever they are do for their next vaccinations. They dewormed my puppy for free. I love animal crackers, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I take all my animals here, they are wonderful. I have never had any problems, the staff is very friendly.
