Punctual, courteous, and quick turnaround on a very comprehensive written report were all a bonus. The biggest benefit for me was the dialog and advice of a professional with many years in the mold business.

MI&T was GREAT! The inspector was early, incredibly detailed, and took his time. They also made a point to TELL us what was wrong and not just do the inspection and tell us in the report.

Called MI&T on New Year's Eve about inspecting my home and, despite being very busy, they made himself available the very next day which was new years.....VERY impressed and thankful!

There was constant communication and a consistent spirit of professionalism that I appreciated while working with this company.

I don't typically write reviews for companies, but given that this is a service that is very important to home owners, especially those with small children, I felt it would be a good idea to offer a bit of input on our own personal experience. And it seems to me as if the other reviews are pretty generic to the service which often doesn't hold much value to whether it's a real review or not either. At first glance the company seems fine, the inspector was a nice and polite older man. the problem lies in the fact that we paid close to 400$ for little to no professional work to be done. At around 375$ the inspector did two mold tests, one outside (not tremendously helpful, but apparently a standard in the industry) and one inside, in a location we choose. Given that I'm not an expert (and paying someone who is) I really don't know the best location to do a second test and was offered no advice to where the second test should be done. the walk around portion of the visit, was just that, a walk around. he hardly inspected anything. when looking for something as small as mold spores, you'd have to do a pretty thorough examination, right? we didn't receive anything remotely close to that. the inspector didn't even notice our 40lb dog sitting in a giant crate in the corner of the room-- how in front can an examination be if you're not looking or seeing something that size in a corner? when I called to complain about the poor work that had been done I was told that the inspector had recommended to us we had more testing done and it was our fault for not choosing to do more. but in fact, the inspector didn't reccommend additional testing. he said that he saw no problems and everything smelled fine-- that there were no apparent concerns. if he had even implied the smallest issue, we would have done additional testing in a heart beat-- considering this has been a long standing concern for myself and my family. if you have any concerns for your own family I'd consider saving yourself the money and the visit and choosing another, more efficient company.

Throughout the entire process I was extremely impressed with MI&T professionalism, communication, and willingness to explain every detail. I would definitely hire MI&T again and will likely bring him back in 6-12 months to do another test just to make sure all is still clear.

MI&T obviously has a passion for this work, and their enthusiasm is contagious. They explained everything clearly as they went, and cheerfully shared their thoughts on how we could improve our maintenance plan going forward. I received his detailed, annotated and illustrated inspection report, only one day following the inspection.
