Nikki was the most patient and kind person to draw my 5 year olds blood. We had an amazing experience.

THE ABILITY TO MAKE APPOINTMENT IS GREAT!!!! THE TECH THAT DREW MY BLOOD WAS FAST AND GOT IT ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT

I had a FABULOUS experience during my lab appointment, especially because of Ms. Nikki. She was friendly, funny, knowledgeable about phlebotomy and was able to access my vein on the first try- and I have really bad veins. I truly enjoyed my lab appointment, which is definitely a first.

This service is outstanding in every way. Keep up the good work.

Had an appt, so went directly to window as requested. Once I was checked in , I received my labels for lab work and immediately was directed where to get my work done. Everything went very smoothly.

Arrived to find the order for my Lab Work had not been entered by Urology. Maybe the Lab could look to see if there is a pending order before the patient travels to the hospital (15 miles for me!) then gets turned away because the clinic didn't do their job.

Phlebotomist #2 was very pleasant and knowledgeable. This is the 2nd time that he has assisted me. I wish that I knew his name. I prefer the check in system by phone and using the ID card at the laboratory. It’s very efficient and saves time. I was very impressed. The desk staff was very pleasant too. She had glasses and braids in a bun. Unfortunately I don’t recall her name.

Josephine was very quick and efficient. Always great!

Came in for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test. Communication was poor. After getting first lab draw they told me to wait in waiting room. As I have not had this test before I asked if I was supposed to drink the drink now and they said they’ll call me when they are ready. About 30 minutes passed and finally I was called. I now understand that they were waiting for the result, but felt that should have been communicated considering I saw 2 other pregnant women go up and ask the same question. Despite them having 3 different drinks I was handed the “fruit punch” and asked to drink this in front of a full waiting room. It seems that this could have been done somewhere more private. I was told to go back by a time written for my lab draw. I now realize that all of my lab draws were drawn 10 minutes early and I won’t be surprised if this skews my results. Everytime I went back it seemed staff were unaware of how to do the draw and were always consulting 2 ladies for directions. This decreased my confidence in their readiness. Three techs drew off the same vein repeatedly. One drew off of the other arm. Over all it was an uncomfortable experience between the waiting room and sticks. I just moved to Nellis and at my previous station there was a separate room for pregnant patients where we sat in recliner chairs during the wait….which is a much more comfortable experience than sitting in hard chairs in a full waiting room. In addition I felt sick during my test (dizzy sweating) and let the lab tech know this. I have vagaled in the past and felt unwell. I told him I was going to sit in the chair for a few minutes before getting up. He said okay and walked away to work on a different patient. I’m a registered nurse and if a patient told me they were feeling unwell after a lab draw I wouldn’t have left the bedside. I ended up putting my head between my legs and another technician checked on me. I think there needs to be additional training for some of the staff.

Impressive addition to allow appointments (and also honor them). I was in and out in 10 minutes. The front desk and the blood tech were superb. I was in the Air Force medical business for many years as well as a patient. That’s the best lab encounter/process I’ve seen. Thank you.

Quick and easy process

Using the ID card scanner certainly speeds up the check in.
My phlebotomist was excellent! One stick and we were on our way and done.
