I had the largest amount of blood tubes drawn for Walter Reed hospital for kidney list. The staff and my phlebotomist was extremely professional and supportive in making sure I was ok during this long blood draw experience. They also made sure to FedEx it to Walter Reed Hospital. The appointment portal is a really great addition to your service! I tried it for the first time on 9/15/21 and it worked seamlessly. I had an appointment so there was no waiting and was tended to out in 10 minutes. I was serviced by Josephine Owens who was very professional, expedient and painless. I was very pleased with my visit to the laboratory.

The tech was great, this has nothing to do with the tech, but she was the only one working. That’s messed up to have only one person working the entire lab. She was hustling, and she shouldn’t have to. You need more staff.

Also, she said I may have to come back due to the lab being closed for a holiday on Monday and needing to turn in my lab within 72 hours. These things should be very clear to people getting blood drawn on Friday before a holiday so that we don’t waste our time.

I had a little bit of trouble finding the lab. I had to go past it and then come back to see the sign for the lab. The people were awesome.

The appointment system was amazingly simple to use. I arrived, was taken right back, and was out in a matter of minutes. The phlebotomist was excellent! (and painless) Kudos!
