Provided by ThryvToday, I came in primarily for lab work. In previous visits, I came in early and waited in line. However, this time, I made an on-line appointment. I received both text and email notifications prior to the day of my appointment and on the day of my appointment. Nice - so I don't accidentally forget - plus a confirmation that the appointment is still set. We went in and stepped up to the counter 5 minutes prior and the medical professional took care of us. Everything was clear and easy. All the people were very nice. Before the lab appointment, we talked to the TriCare folks about upcoming Medicare conversion. They were very helpful and explained what should happen clearly. We're happy that we can still use the medical facility after starting medicare/tricare for life. Then we ran upstairs to the women's department so my wife could schedule a mammogram. Everyone was nice and helpful. After the lab work, we went to Immunology. Before signing in, the medical professional asked what we needed. After hearing that we only wanted to let them know we had our COVID-19 vaccinations, they took our cards (no need to sign in) for recording and we were on our way. What is remarkable is that this was a typical day at the hospital. We've been going there for years and it is always consistently exceptional in service. I'm so proud to have served and extremely grateful that those who serve take care of each other so well every day. Thank you very much.

Provided by ThryvThe wonderful lady that checked me in and drew my labs was amazing! She was kind, and empathetic to my phobia of needles. She was so good,, I didn't feel a thing and she drew my labs in seconds.. She personally took care of a computer glitch or something awry with my appointment.
Glad to be back home and be able to utilize the MTF at Nellis.

Provided by ThryvWent to the Lab on 5 Apr 2021, waiting area full and people standing in the hallway. Picked a number and revealed 50 or more people ahead of me. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes a team member appeared, made an announcement that waiting time would be approximately 2 plus hours. He also advised that appointments could be made. Went home and called the appointment number and was given an appointment for the next day. Arrived on 6 Apr 2021, 15 minutes ahead of my scheduled time pulled a number and waited. After approximately 5 minutes waiting I went to the window, informed the team member that I had an appointment, was processed and on my way in about 15 minutes or so. Great system, except for the confusion on what to do when arriving for check in if you have an appointment. Was told when appointment was made to pull a number and wait which I did. If I hadn't went to the customer service window I would have been waiting along with the others for my number to be called. Appointment scheduler should advise the patient at the time of scheduling the correct procedures to follow upon arrival to avoid confusion at the check in area. Other than that, the appointment system is a major improvement to the walk in take a number system. Thanks to the young man that made the announcement on 5 Apr 21 about the appointment system. Saved lots of time.

Provided by ThryvBrisk walk N the Park. Very easy process w/ ID card #, and very quick response with confirmation and reminders. Definitely merits 5 STAR award. I will continue to use this appt. approach, then sit for 30-90 min waiting for my # to B called to have blood drawn.
