Great Managers and Specials!!!! Your on a month to month lease and it's very clean and well kept

Great place to store your valuables, excellent customer service and the I love the fact that my unit has its own alarm, not to mention an access code. Plus the place is very clean and well lit.

SPB , was very helpful in finding the correct size storage for me. Friendly service. I felt compleatly confindant that my things were safe. everything is clean , they have your moving needs too, boxes and tape etc. Great place to store your things !!!

If you don't care about your SPI (Sensitive Personal Information) and whether you're risking identity theft, then this place is fine. However, for people who are aware of risks of giving this kind of information to people and organizations who are not in the business of protecting it (e.g., financial institutions, employers, etc.), you should know that they require you to let them keep your Drivers License information and your Social Security Number on file. I've used this place on 2 occasions over the past 10 years -- there is a constant turnover in staff, so you won't know how many people, or who, will have access to your SPI. To add insult to injury, they claim their weird policy is for *your* protection. Obviously, it's for *their* protection--in case someone writes a bad check or skips out without paying; they want to be able to track them down. There's no way Drivers License info and SS# are going to protect me as a customer: the gate requires a unique code (that you choose) to get into the site, and you have your own lock on your unit. That's the physical security. If they wanted to protect my account information for *my* benefit, then they would ask me to make up a unique password, with 3 challenge questions, and use that for confirming ID.



Bad policies, plus deception about the reasons for the bad policies = 2 strikes. Take your business elsewhere. I'm checking out Budget Storage on Collins Ave in Richmond (San Pablo?). Talked to a guy on the phone there and, provided you're assessed as a good credit risk, they won't ask for our DL# (although they will want to your photo + address portion of the DL). On a case-by-case basis, they may ask for the last 4 numbers of the SS#. Hope that's true.

This is one of the best place to store all your belongings. I have used Security Public Storage for a while now & I have no complaints! Its always clean & the staff is always helpful with anything I need.
