It is my pleasure to provide this review of Mercury Auto Transport. I spent so much time researching transportation companies before deciding on which one to use. What impressed me the most was in the details. From the first email that Jim Godze sent me, I knew Mercury Auto Transport was different from other companies. He provided detailed information regarding the industry and what you should look out for when transporting your vehicle. This was invaluable information!!! The professionalism was what I was looking for so I could be confident that my vehicle would be taken care of (this was the first time I had to ship a vehicle). I trusted that Jim and Mercury Auto Transport would handle my transport successfully. Jim and I kept in contact as the prospective dates changed because of my schedule. After the timeline was decided upon, Jim kept me informed until he secured a transport company. Jim took care of everything and vetted the company he thought would be best. Trusting Jim's expertise (we had been working together for quite some time at that point), I agreed on the company and everything went pretty quickly from that point on. Again, he provided detailed information (in writing) on what to expect and all the details of the transport including the driver's cell phone # (Jim had also provided his different phone numbers including his cell #). From that point, I was also in contact with the driver. Within 2 days, my vehicle was picked up and arrived at the destination 2 days later (no issues occurred during the transport). I couldn't have asked for better service!! I am so very pleased with the service and I am very grateful to Jim Godze and Mercury Auto Transport!! Thank you!

Matt transported my vehicle my VA to NM for me. He made the entire process super easy and simple, called me every step of the way and kept me well informed making sure i was comfortable with the whole process. Thank you Matt, I will definitely be using Mercury again in the future.

Do not use this service. No one responds to you after they have your vehicle. I'm at the point that I may have to contact the authorities.

There are so many car transport companies out there, and almost all of them are brokers. Some are shady, ask you for a credit card upfront, promise you a low price only to get you to sign up with them, then try to tell you that they cannot find a company that will do it fo the low price and ask you to pay more. I chose Mercury because they did not ask me for upfront payment,had good reviews, and only took my $ once they had a confirmed quote from a car transport company. I had to ship a large SUV in the winter from Scottsdale to Cheyenne, WY and Cheyenne is off the beaten track. The quoted price was honored and the pickup was on time. There was a delay in getting the car from Denver to Cheyenne (things happen....), and here is where Mercury shone. They were all over it, making sure the car would get there asap, they advocated on my behalf, they continued to answer the phone when I called them (from what I hear this is rather unusual, most brokers will just tell you to call dispatch) and they continued to care until the car was delivered at its destination. If you need to ship a car Mercury should be your first choice.

I needed my car transported from Massachusetts to Florida. After another company cancelled on me last minute I decided to give Mercury a call. I was put in contact with Jeff who was courteous, understanding, and very knowledgeable about how my car transport would work. I was worried after I was already cancelled on that it wouldn't work out but Jeff assured me he would get it done for me. I got a call back the very next day from Jeff telling me that he had found someone to transport my car. it was picked up 2 days later and delivered in another 2. AMAZING! my car arrived in perfect condition and ahead of schedule. I couldn't be happier with the services Jeff provided for me. I will be using Mercury in the future when I need my car transported again.

As a first time shipper had lots of quotes and calls with pricing all over the board. Chose Mercury because their email actually explained how shipping a car worked. Talked with Kathy Gardner an found her knowledgeable and experienced. She explained the whole process and found the carrier in one day from posting. The carrier was on time, professional and even ready to deliver earlier than our original date. The whole process with Mercury and Kathy was great!

My boyfriend and I recently found ourselves stranded in Los Altos, CA, several hundred miles from our Orange County home, with a busted transmission in our truck. We decided our best course of action was to transport the truck home and have it fixed by our home shop for much less money than any of the shops up north were quoting.
Mercury Auto Transport was the first company to answer our call on Monday, and Richard Morgan personally promised to liaise with the auto shop and that our truck would be delivered in Orange County no later than Wednesday morning. We rented an economy car and drove ourselves home to wait for the truck's arrival.
It is now Wednesday afternoon, and Richard Morgan has NOT been in contact with the auto shop, has NOT dispatched a transport vehicle for our truck, is asking for double the originally agreed upon price, has been completely unprofessional and unhelpful on the phone (he sounds like he must be high or something), and now seems to be dodging our calls entirely.
We have contacted Fox Auto Transport and hired them to fetch the truck and bring it home for us. Trish took our call and was completely honest and up front about how everything would work, no deceptive promises, and was very empathetic to our problems. We feel like we can genuinely trust Fox's services and that they deserve our business. Their A+ rating with the BBB seems well justified, versus the C+ rating that Mercury has (and deserves).
Mercury Auto Transport and Richard Morgan can shove it where the sun doesn't shine, we are relieved we did not follow through with the transaction and let them steal our money.
Update: After we sent an email to cancel our contract, we finally got multiple emails saying a transport had been dispatched by Mercury and that payment was owed. Fat chance. I lost it and called to complain, and Richard refused to even listen to me, talked over me, interrupted me, called me crazy, and said it was my fault. I finally passed the phone to my boyfriend so he continue the call calmly but Richard continued to escalate the call until my boyfriend had to threaten with legal action and end the call.

I had bought a car off eBay and as the seller was responsible for getting it shipped to me safely. I did not want to go with the suggested carriers that eBay had recommended. I sought my own carrier. I have to admit it was more overwhelming than I had expected, not quite as cut and dried as I had expected. JC took his time to try and work with me and explained how things worked. I didnt have an exact pickup address not was I certain about the pickup date. JC went with the flow, waiting for me to get all the information and try to secure a driver and passage for my car. Ultimately, we did not use Mercury Auto Transport, no fault of the company. We decided to use a company that my uncle uses, who happily agreed to pass along his discount to us. Mercury's rates are not unreasonable, they are priced competitively. I have read horror stories throughout my researching of many quotes and you would do much better calling these guys than a lot of others!

Jeff Solomon responded to all of my questions and concerns promptly and walked me through the process of transporting my car across country. I felt reassured by his knowledge and professionalism. I would recommend Mercury Auto Transport to anyone who needed this kind of service.Thank you Jeff!

I was very confused about how the whole transport process would work, but Matt was able to walk me through the whole process and answer any of the questions I had. He was always friendly and eager to help. I will be recommending Matt and your services to anyone and everyone I know.

This is the second time I have used Sam Golden with Mercury Auto Transport and feel like the second time was even better than the first! Sam was very quick with getting back to me by text and phone. I never once waited for his response! He told me the route was not a good one and to be prepared for a little bit of a wait to have a carrier pick up the request. But it was less than 24 hours and he had a carrier for my vehicle. He was honest on price and set clear expectations. The carrier that picked up the vehicle was right on time at both locations and was very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Sam with Mercury Auto!
