Easy to make apt and hardly any wait time at all

Showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment. Was done and out the door 2 minutes before my appointment time. The only issue I had was getting the appointment to accept my phone number. It took multiple attempts then suddenly worked.

The Tech at the window gave me the wrong info until I reminder here what she should for. This the second time in three weeks this has happened at the window to check-in. These Techs need more training.

Second time (recently) I took my son in almost last appt of the afternoon was a good quick experience.
The first time (recently) I took him in there was supposed to be an appointment just after his doctor appt. There was not. The guy at the desk was rude and unprofessional. We waited 20 minutes with only one person being called. 25 people gathered in that tiny room in the portable outside. I was uncomfortable with that so we left and had to travel 30 each way back another day.

With the appointment I was in and out while others were still waiting when I left. Great service by all.

Quick, courteous and efficient.

Your web site says you must have an appointment due to your relocation. But in the waiting room there is no sign or directions as what to do to make it known you have an appointment. The only sign is directing you to get a number from the kiosk which does not differentiate from those who have appointments and those who do not. Also I was told that a new change to the system kicks out any lab test orders after 60 days. My doctor ordered a blood lab to be taken 30 days after the first one was in question. He made the request but I guess the system booted it at the 60 day point. Have the doctors been made aware that if they schedule a test past 60 days it will be kicked out of the system? Why is it so hard to call and verify a test is still in the system. I saw two other couples at the family clinic trying to get the labs entered after they had been previously scheduled but were no longer in the system. Why is it so difficult to get routine labs for physicals scheduled BEFORE the appointment? Every year I have to call several times to get them entered before the actual appointment and 50 % of the time I show up and find they are not loaded. Nellie is a first rate facility and I admire and appreciate all the work the workers and staff do but perhaps a few managerial tweaks would help. Thank you for the chance to make these observations.

The Lab is one of the best departments at the hospital at Nellis. I haven't had a lot of positive experiences in the 18 months at this hospital, but the lab has always been a good one. Ms. Nikki. Is top notch! Keep up the great work Lab! Spread it around!

I arrived about nine minutes before my appointment. Two minutes before my appointment the receptionist verified my information, printed my lab forms, and directed me to the lab. As instructed by a sign, I took an available seat to await my lab draw. The very professional and friendly phlebotomist drew my blood and provided me a cup for a urine sample within minutes after my taking a seat. The entire process from my arrival to my departure was less than 15 minutes, a very pleasant and painless experience.

Josephine has served me twice in the past couple of weeks. She is THE BEST in every way. She's very kind, professional, and gentle in taking blood. She let's me know what she's doing along the way. Give that woman a raise!!
